Supplication for offspring (3 of 9)
Rabbanaa waj-'alnaa muslimayni laka wa min zurriyyatinaa 'ummatam muslimatal lak; WA 'arinaa manaasikanaa WA tub 'alaynaa 'innaka 'antat-tawwabur-raheem
Our Rabb! and make us both Muslims to You, and from our offspring a nation Muslims to You, and show us our ways of dedication, and turn towards us. You indeed, You are the oft-Returning, most Rewarding. (2:128)

This was a supplication offered by Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail while they were reconstructing the Holy House of Ka'aba. This supplication is to be made by all the parents who wish to have their children lead an Islamic life, away from evils and shirk. The previous verse (2:127) relates a supplication to accept the efforts of the father and son in reconstructing the Holy House.
