for offspring (5 of 9)

| Rabbanaa
hab lanaa min 'azwaajinaa wa zurriyyatinaa qurrata 'a'-yunin waj-'alnaa
lil-Muttaqeena 'Imaamaa |
| Our
Rabb! grant us out of our wives and our offspring the joy of eyes,
and make us leaders of the reverent.
(25:74) |

| This
supplication is taught in the Qur-an to be made by such believers
who reverted back to the truth, and do not turn deaf or blind to
the Message of the Rabb. Next verse (25:75) describes that such
believers who offer this supplication will be rewarded with high
places. The reward is due to the perseverance and these believers
will be met with greetings and salutation. |
