| Rabbang-fir
lanaa zunuubanaa wa 'israafanaa fiii 'amrinaa wa sabbit 'aqdaamanaa
wan-surnaa 'alal-qawmil-kafireen |
| Our
Rabb! protect us against our faults and our extravagance in our
affairs, and make firm our feet, and help us against the unbelieving
people. (3:146) |

| Muhammad
(PBUH) was so severly injured at the battle of Mount Uhud, that
rumors spread about his death. In relation to this incident the
above supplication is mentioned. As with Muhammad (PBUH), many other
nabis also fought for Truth and all of them had prayed the above
supplication. In response to this supplication, Allah had granted
them with "reward of this world and a better reward of the
Hereafter" (3:147) |
