| Prophet
Musa (pbh) had been in a debate with the magicians and wise men
in the court of Fir'awn. The wise men of Fir'awn realized the beauty
of truth and became believers. At this point, Fir'awn warned them
with dire consequences if they do not return back to obey Fir'awn.
However, the wise men remined firm and made this supplication to
protect them from the harsh trial that Fir'awn would like them to
go through. In the present situation of the world, this supplication
is particularly suited to help us during difficult political conditions
and to keep us believers even if death reaches us. |
