'Inna
salaatee wa nusukii wa mah-yaaya wa mamaatee lil-laahi Rabbil-'aalamiin.
Laa shareeka lah: wa bizaa-lika 'umirtu wa 'ana 'awwa-lul- muslimeen.
|
| Surely
my Salat and my sacrifice and my living and my dying are for the
sake of Allah- Rabb of all the worlds. No partners has He; and thus
I am commanded, and I am the foremost of the Muslims.

| Prophet
Muhammad(PBUH)
was instructed to make this supplication in Surah Al-An'am. In the
Holy Qur-an, there are several supplications which were mentioned
as made by prophets and believers. There are also some supplications
which are taught by Allah Himself. This is one of such supplications,
being taught by Allah to our dear Rasul (PBUH). In two verses, this
supplication encompasses every aspect of our life. |
