Acceptance of Supplications even from Unbelievers

In Surah Al-An'am,verses 63 and 64, Allah mentions that:

Say: "Who saves you from the darkness of the land and the sea? You call upon Him with humility and secrecy: "If He saves us from this we shall certainly be of the grateful ones"."
Say: "Allah saves you from these and from every other distress, yet you associate."

In the above two verses, we see that even for those who associate with Allah, Allah responds to their supplications and saves them from every distress.

In Surah Yunus, verse 12, Holy Qur-an mentions that:

And when any suffering touches a person, he calls upon us on his sides or sitting down or standing up; but when we remove his suffering from him, he walks away as if he had never called upon Us at the time of any suffering touching him...

In Surah Bani Isra'il, ayat 67, Allah tells that:

And when hurt touches you in the sea, those whom you call upon besides Him disappear; but when He resues you towards the land you turn away. And man is ever ungrateful!
